I try and reinstall dvbviwer& Vplug see if that solves the problem

Tune to a scrambled channel, go to plugins/vplug/show monitor (or whatever), click on the blue icon top right, you should have the editor, if there is any text in the middle of the screen right click then delete all records. At the bottom of the editor you need to input the following: -
Name = N
Provider ID = 5D01 or your P-ID
Key Index = 00
Key = 0000000000000000 (must be 16)
Then add new, do it again but change the key index to 01, then once more with key index V and key 1234, you should have 3 lines of text, close the editor, in vplug right click on the key icon (lower one at the top) select Activate selected EMM pid (AU) only if there is no tick next to it, it should decrypt in less than a minute.

Thanks willin

Fortunately later-on of Friday the channels came back - My VM signal quality is a little poor on some channels so I think it took Vplug a littel bit of time to retrive the new keys. however I will save this post incase I have any future problems.
