OK Here's the SP on this one.
A while back somebody asked me about universal rc's that would do a kv, well tell yer what I bought 20 today and they will do a kv. (By the way the all in one remotes I did a bit back for a bit of fun (them 12 foot beanpoles)) that was just a laugh I was havin. OK I have got loads of so called universal remote's but not one of them would operate a kv, but these baby's a bought today do, tell yer what they cost £3 and yer get full instructions and they deffo operate a kv box, this is first one I know of that will do a kv, yeah yer can get the logitek harmony all in one (which I bought for £30-£35) and it's bloody ace, it does any stb as well, but these I bought for £3 are bloody brilliant, wafer thin, small and neat in silver colour, also they do tv's vcr's hifis etc. So get yerselve's one a these for a spare in case yer orig kv rc conks out, by the way a noticed that the response to the kv is rapid. I didn't have an issue with the newer kv's that were slow at responding, also I opened one up and the componennts in these are top ones, not cheap chinky components. So anyone with slow responding to newer kv's then try one of these baby's cos the emitters in these are really Powerful. Jam

Update on these uvrc's.
A forgot to mention, these look really good and at the mo I've only programed it to do a kv BUT the micro contoller in these are really good and I think they may also operate a d-box, eurovox and Starviews as well. I'll test em over weekend and send a post back if I find they will operate other boxes, pretty confident that they will!!!! Love Jam xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxPS just sussed it was Yusuf gaz who asked me about a good universal remote control,. I've been done.
Update on these remotes are this, I went to a market and bought 20 at £3 each not complaing cos they are brilliant, I have just found out that they are selling these beauties in Poundland shops at £1 each. So if you have a poundland shop in your area then have a boogie ova to one and buy a few cos these are best all in one remotes I have seen, got loads of other al in ones and they don't do stb's but this one does, deffo does a kv. They are called SIGNALEX-Universal Remote Control. Jam

Jambutty News Flash On These URC'S Still brilliant for a quid BUT a just lost me patience trying to program a Eurovox Ex5000 Pvr with one of these beauties and afta about 1 hour of searching for this freq, it wouldn't accept one so a lost me patience and just give it 2 swift clouts wi me hammer (Bloody Hell I smacked it while it was on the glass coffee table) and I haven't just smashed mi remote up, I have also ruined me glass coffeee table, glass all ova me flat now ![]() So looks like it's a NO NO for them doing a Evox 5000pvr. At least they will do a kv ok. Gonna try next one a dbox next, but if afta an hour and it don't take the freq for this then I better but the next remote on me floor before a smack it one if it won't play ball. Hope the old boot that lives underneath us has gone to her daughters for the weekend cos she's gonna think the flats are being bombed with the force am gonna hit this one with if it don't work ![]() anyhow 1 stb out a 2 fer a quid ain't bad, a look at it this way, wot can yer buy fer a quid these days, answer Rock All!!!
