back to updating my own card,as all my pc are vista is the new infinity usb compatabile with vista as i have the old infinity with a serial connecter this is no good with vista as my pc does not have a seial connecter can anyone say best site to buy one,as want to update with a fun au can some 1 point me in the right direction for all software needed many thanks rodds

Infinity usb programmer works best through the serial port, either you can add serial port to your PC or get your self a cheap laptop that has one, most peeps that tried to connect the programmer using USB to serial did not work.

not meaning to sound daft how do you connect it to serial port when it has a mini usb socket ?

infinity comes with both usb and serial and they are both needed to get the programmer to work, usb connection is the power source for the programmer serial is to read the data.
