Hi if I turn my box off so its just on standby....when I turn it back on the box refuses to work! I have to switch it off at the back of the box then turn it on with the remote, any ideas why i cant just turn it on and off with the standby button???

I have to leave the box on all the time now.

I have the exact same problem so, if anyone has a solution, I'd be keen to know.

I've had the same problem from day one with mine, with no soution. I dont record with mine so Its just turned off when not in use.

Anyone got a telephone number for eurovox.org? Bought my EX5100 from them and they don't seem to be replying to emails.
