Hi there.

My Eurovox works great in the UK, but I'm moving to Canada. Does anybody know if it will work in Canada? or if not, is there a cable box that will? I hear satellite dishes are down now that the broadcasting companies have swapped from Nag 2 to Nag 3 encryption. I believe the cable company is shaw in Canada.

AFAIK, the Eurovox's will not work in other countries unless of course there is firmware available for the country. A dreambox will definitely work in Canada as they were designed to be shipped worldwide so you could use different images etc... the Eurovox's were marketed to the UK, but Im not sure about the HD receiver as that allows you to set your time zone for some reason

Unless theres firmware there and unless cyprus are on nagra 1,2 or equivalents, then no the Eurovox will not work in Cyprus. If of course you are on about the dreambox,as long as someone has an image for Cyprus, then yes it will work in Cyprus, but if you are on a different encryption, then it wont work in the traditional way

your box will work in canada... just need 6000 miles of ct100 cable
