Hi everyone,I have found a virgin media box in the flat i just moved into and i have beentold from the previous guy who rented flat that the box was his from virgin and was working when he left the flat but when i plug it in it comes up" Your digital tv service will start shortly" can anyone tell me if i could get it to work etc,its a samsung.

Hi

You could get it to work, at the moment it sounds as though you dont have live signal there. Is there a card with the box.

....and, if its a Samsung 2110 box, the last thing you want to do with it before removing the card is to plug it into a live feed. It can take as little as 2 seconds for the boxkey to be wiped off the card and ruin your day !

he never owns the box, the box is still VM`s and in his name somewhere lol he get a nice bill if u use and mod it
