Hi my trusted 1000 1b (2 chip simm) has done a iceland on me
freeze`s at the same checkpoint all the time AP:52, Not a clue what this fault is,but hoping some1 on here might know. Ive vainly attempted to reset netid with libby (but alas it pops-up-with as a comm failure screen ) when i attempt to get net id,and changing comm port from 1 to 4 and 3 comm leads later,it still wont connect. So i assume that the AP:52 startup error is behind this ??? whatever it is. If you know of this fault or faults please let me know before it hits the wheelie bin .

Hi
Sig/netid most likely netid. I take it you dont have a proggy so you are trying with libby. Sometimes you need to try a few times in libby or if you have proggy then set using funcard method. Have you checked in EM if netid has changed and you sure sig is good. Regards |

I have a box that freezes on AP52 too. It's been like that for a year. It has never been a problem. I start the box in EM and go to page 13, Set the channel freq to 666.75 with the channel up&down keys and then , when the box has locked on ( The lock status changes from red to green) , do a warm restart on page 11. I don't know why this works but it does.
Good luck. |

It jumps from freq to freq on its own,all without a lockon i cant manually do anything except move across from freq`s to 8hz,and back again in the page 13 menu, Though on my 2000 box i can do as you say ??? also noticed in my EM page 1 the bottom line CAN RECEIVE EMM`S states NO ,as my 2000 states YES |

Hi
Have you checked your sig/snr levels should be green. Around 33/34 db. These 1000 tuners have been failing of late and think that could be your problem. May say no T-stream in card status page when card is removed. Regards |
