Whats the quickest way to check macs?? PLEASE..

Ive got a 10meg mac using now i'm happy with but got a load of others ive sniffed out but have i got to change my computer from obtain IP automatically every time to haxo site and turn modem off and on and go through whole rigmarole, or is there a quicker way to A.test macs work and B. what speed they will give.

Help and suggestions much appreciated for nottingham especially.

Thanks for the quck reply, bit gutted now, finding a 20meg connection looks like it going to be a very long task.

its only quicker if you got Haxorware on your modem. if you have, on the overview page you can click the name of the config to download the file. once you got the file you can open it in vultureware (google it) in the app you mite have to change the file type to all. once you got it open downstream rate should say 20480000 and upstream should say 768000 as that is 20mb bb lower number is lower packages.

it mite seem long winded to start with but once you got the hang of it you will be speeding a long way faster then doing speed test.
