Default Whats the quickest way to check macs?? PLEASE..

Ive got a 10meg mac using now i'm happy with but got a load of others ive sniffed out but have i got to change my computer from obtain IP automatically every time to haxo site and turn modem off and on and go through whole rigmarole, or is there a quicker way to A.test macs work and B. what speed they will give.

Help and suggestions much appreciated for nottingham especially.

no, the long way round is the only way really.
