Who really cares !

If they start charging for news then the search engines will simply drop it and fill the pages up with even more adverts. Fewer people will see the news headlines and be re-directed back to the original source so the only people losing out are the original news providers.

What about sites like the register? Besides, I get the metro free If the BBC ever goes down, a) they'll probably be bailed out and b) there are other alternatives-it just means finding free sources of information

Oh yeah people can also use the red button if they have an original box
