my misses made me tidy up our spare room today ( My workshop ) and at the back of a drawer i found an old bricked ambit 200 board i'd forgotten about, so i thought i'd have a play , since then i'v bought a usb jtag (T~nisousb i know better now and cheaper ones do more ) , i'v done the search and soldered pin header on underside and put my link wire in and yippee it recognises it , only trouble is , What is the best firmware to put on it ?

haxorware m8 in my experience, got 2 modems 1 with infinite and a web2100 with hax and that one runs at 45meg

what version of haxorware works with ambit200
is it the sb5100

hax wont work. you need sb5100mod

if the number on the flash chip ends in btc-90 forget any custom firmware thou

it's a bbtc-70 chip , i still got loads of btc's waitin for someone to find a fix for them.

also does sbmod5100 come with annex set for pure or can it be changed by web page ?

i agree with red , i use haxor on my other 2 modems , but i just found this old fossil and wanted to try it

im not sure but i think it can be done using the normal moto webgiu

i got it on now , valid 2meg mac but it wont lock on, just keeps scanning
