Lightbulb D box screen

Can anyone tell me how easy/hard it is to replace a d box screen? Thinking of putting the new blue screen in mine as my old green one is shot and barley lights up at all!

it is easy... remove the case then the front,,, usually a couple of pins holding the front in and screws or hex on the case..... then two more screw holding in the lcd and a cable that easily slots in and out.

i apply logic when doing this kind of thing,, remember everything as you remove it and reverse to install the new one.

ive done loads of lcd replacements and its as easy as doing it when im asleep now!

did you know you can get nearly any colour lcd these days? ive always used blue but theres red / yellow/ orange etc etc

regards dave

them screens look totally badass. i'd cerianly go for the multicolour one of i was sure i didn't have to open the dbox to change the colour, or have a dopey switch hanging out.

if anyone has used one and knows how well they work, please specify.

else i'll just default to the blue and white one, i seen a blue and white screen on a vending machine in the hospital and it looked decent enough, but a red screen would be so much more classic.
