If any of you lucky people on here are using a SHINY NEW kryptview DW 800 box at the minute would you mind answering me a few questions..

1) Does the box have power search mode when the box is in standby??..
2) What does mosaic mode mean,as i have seen in the users manual that you can have the channels shown in mosaic mode..4 channels,9 channels or 16 channels mode??..

I think its a mode where you can display multiple channels from the same transponder in a "mosaic" tile (small windows for each channel). tbh, I cant really see it being of much use as you can never say which channels are gonna be matched with which other channels within the TS stream. Each NetId can have different arrangements and channels tend to move around on a frequent basis.

I suppose its possible it might have some use if your desperately looking for something to watch. You could potentially check every channel just by moving through a mosaic of each of the 30 or so transponders.

Will these boxes work with any USB drive e.g Sandisk?

1.No power search mode yet but im assured it will be added to a future firmware

2.Have a look at the 3rd pic i posted here Eurovox Ex7000hd or Kryptview HD??
As TheCoder says it allows you to watch multiple channels,not something ive messed with much so cant confirm if its only on single transponder but dont think it will be a feature i'll be using much!
