hi guys,

just read on another forum that there is a fix out that stops all the ranging problems that people had and macs that did not work b4 now do.dont know how true this is as the person that was talking about it said that the people that done it dont want to release it as it would be bad for the scene.could be true or could be bo__ocks.

had a look couldnt find a fix yet.

my modem locks onto downstream frequency but not for upstream.

according to the site they are not going to release it as they say it will fcuk up the system,i think by that they mean more people getting online with cloned modems.

personally i think they should as we are all here to help one another,i am ok myself and have tried to help others although my knowledge is limited lol, and after all everyone has to start of somewhere.i am sure the authors of this fix (if it's real) had to get help when they started.

its 100% true m8 the fix has been out for a while but not made public because there is to many eyes about

look what happened when the 50 meg config got made public

well i aint managed to fix my ranging problems on 2 modems guys---any ideas on why they are stuck on upstream ranging? im running rev 38 on all modems n not such problem except on these two--a 255 and some canadian rubbish--model number u10c018 trade name: ambit

any help is appreciated.
