Hi Everybody

I can't view movies channels on sammy 2100 as it requires PIN.
What can I do about it?

I have read something I need to get itno engineering menu
and reset PIN. But I cannot get in there.
People wrote I must power up the box while holding STANDBY+OK+LEFT+RIGHT until LP05. In my box when I power up
holding those keys the counter does not stop on LP05.
There is a short break on LP03 and then LP20, and LP30 after, and then reset.

I can get to other menu with 20 pages, by holding UP and DOWN, there is some PIN entered at the bottom of the first page (covered by ****) but I cannot get there with the arrow, I cannot change it...

Any suggestions PLEASE

hi the menu you are getting into is the engineers menu i am sure that you can reset the pin with the funcard trick but i havent had anything to do with these boxes so cant be sure hopefully someone else will add to this

Is this PIN issue a problem of the actual box - someone put it in some time ago and now I need to find the way to reset it

OR the PIN comes from the Funcard?

What can I do about it?

hi the pin is stored in the box so you need to reset it i am sure you can so it using a funcard then set a new one in the engineers menu but as i said im not familier with this box so if someone could confirm this

You need to short the internal battery with the power off then reset the Net ID and pin using a Funcard (if your area hasn't taken the 3.7 update).

I understand that if I mess up with the battery It will reset all memory of the box. I will need to set up Network ID that I have at the moment. It will also update firmware from 3_6 to 3_7.

Is it not better to stay with 3_6?

What If I have trouble to set up Net ID after?

Is there any other way to reset PIN? without opening the box?

whaTS going on with you posts mate? the other one says you cant get no channels and needed help with funcard, NOW your saying the same things but now chatting about pin numbers for movies?????

so is the card now working?

The box won't auto update to 3.7 once you have shorted the battery, VM can send this update whenever they wish so you could get it anytime.

Hi seamouse

I managed to sort out Funcard.
It is finally working however I have problem with PIN now.

I can see the only way to reset it is to mess up with battery.
I am afraid I will have problem with setting up Net ID after.

Is it easy?
