Hi i upgraded my ambit 255 from infinite to haxorware a long time ago, and now i am having probleums with haxorware again. i have a good mac all the right settings ticked etc, using the correct frequency for my area. and it keeps getting stuck on upstream ranging.
i would just like to put it back to infinite. ok firstly do i need to return it to stock firmware or can i just flash it with the infinite firmware straight away. also where can i get the infinite firmware to flash to this modem as i havent had much luck. whats the best way to do this. thanks

you are going to have to use soft jtag and the bootlader file, its what i have used and then flash infinite onto that.there could be an easier way but thats the method i use.only one thing though,is when u flash the bootloader back it takes about 10-15 mins to complete.

Why don't you use an older revision of Haxorware (rev32 worked a treat for me on most modems)? You should be able to upload it in the Upgrade Firmware section of the Haxorware GUI.

i agree with blakey, try downgrade it to haxo rev32 using the haxo gui and u should't have no problems, just make sure ur anex is set to both, prefered freqencys are put in correct and mac addy etc etc. haxo does work a treat when set up and is a good piece of firmware credit and respect to its makers rajkoh4x0r ive upgraded all mine from infinite now to haxo ![]()

Hi peeps, along the same lines here. i flashed a webby a few months back with "haxorware10rc3_Ambit250_fullflash" worked a treat then so thought i'd use it again, but read somewhere in these forums that it wont get me on the haxor site. which proves to be the case, could i just flash straigh over using rev32 or will i need to do something with the modem first, and if so what, thanks in advance
