Default Analogue signal going February 2010

Virgin are cutting off analogue signal in February 2010, and Nagra 3 is definitely here.

Don’t ask me how I know, but I have heard this from somebody very high up the food chain.

Apparently the revenue created in Ireland surpassed all excpectations.

Time to start looking at bundles lads if you want to avoid the rush in February, the best deal available is on Virgin, Broadband size L ,plus Phone M,Television M + ,then add on Sky Sports pack and ESPN,do a bit of negotiating and you can get all 3 for under £60.00 with a free install and V+box ( £59.00),easily better than Sky and you can cancel your footy subscription at the end of each season unlike Sky where you have to carry on paying for 12 months.

I would advise going for an install ASAP such will be the demand in the near future.

Plus you can run your soon to be dead box along side it until the inevitable happens

100% certain mate.

A mate of mine knows someone high up at Virgin and he told me today, the entire network is being upgraded ready for the new encryption; those that have been speculating for weeks are spot on.
Have already booked an install rather than run the risk of having nothing over Crimbo, I am just advising others that there will be thousands looking for an installation at the same time it will be a nightmare.

Just enjoy whilst you can, but the days of these boxes are well and truly numbered

I only bought a Kypt last month as well mate

Still it’s not all doom and gloom I will just use it as a box in the bedroom until it eventually dies.

The only reason I have took the plunge now, is rather than waiting till the last minute then have to wait for weeks with thousands of other people waiting for an install missing the footy, from what I can gather the premium channels like Sky Sports and movies will be the first to go,, the rest of the **** channels will be phased out over a period of time, you could quite possibly get to February before the metaphorical hits the fan, or you could have black screens by Christmas!!!.

Like I said those speculating seem to have called it right, From what I can gather when the Analogue signal goes in February it seems to be some sort of turning point as regards encryption

so stick it on ebay or something, so its not worth keeping paid £170 for it as well.
