hi guys i have attached pictures....
had tv for under 5 yrs john lewis replacing free under warranty however samsung equivelent not up to much , they have offered me the panasonic txp42x10b viera but only problem is one of the holes in the panny settings is where i had to cut a bit out for my original samsung ac adapter.... will 3 holes hold it.... you might say change the bracket completely but the wall attachment is thru to chimney brace... |

The replacement TV is probably lighter but a 42" has a fair bit of weight and at the risk of it falling on someone, I would prefer to get more screws into it. Having said that the kit for the new Samsung 40" LED panel only has 2 bolts. If you want to get very technical you would have to know the shear strength of the bolts you are using and calculate it from that.
It will probably be OK but make sure you are happy it is secure. I will accept no responsibility if it falls. That is my disclaimer.

you'll be reet with that. go daft and get some thick expansion bolts and nuts and i'm sure it will hold
