Hi guys i have had my kryptview hd box a couple of days now and has been working great on my 19" samsung hd tv.

im using the hdmi connection on the box to connect it to my samsung, and the settings on the box are as follows

Scart cvbs
aspest ratio 16:9
Display format Auto
Resolution 1080i

and its looks really stunning on the hd channels.

i decided to bring it downstairs to try on the 32" inch sony.

and just plugged into the hdmi connection on the tv and box and it wouldnt come up on the screen.

so i tried another 2 hdmi cables and still wouldnt come on.

then i decided to try scart cable, it then came on the sony.

so i thought i would try change the settings on scart in the menu from cvbs to RJB and then try the hdmi connection.

and still no luck.

have tried box on my mates 52" phillips tv on both settings doesnt work with hdmi connection.

but works using the scart cable.

cant figure this one guys

it seems to work on my 19" samsung with hdmi, but not on any other tvs.

please help

That sounds just like a problem we had with a Virmin+ box setting up HD on a HD TV. We first had to set it up somehow from the menu from the box via the scart lead first before it would switch/recognise and work via the HDMI.
It took us sometime but we got there in the end.
Sorry I can't be more specific ., just trying to give you some idea's until one the the Kryptview guru's get the manual out.

yes thats what i was thinking but have tried changing the settings then trying and still wont work for me.

im sure its something simple hopefully i will figure it out soon
