there are no patches for the manhattan st plaza range. all support has stopped the last patch was in may 06, amd there has been lots of posts everywhere complaining about the lack of support and saying they will never buy any other receiver from manhattan, it's a great shame these receivers with support are world beaters, a good quality picture/sound and 8000 channels and they work first class with any cam you throw at them, and now thats the only way you can get the channels open most are useing the t-rex 4.6 super cam in these receivers. other users have changed to the tm 1500 and this is a cheaper way to go a t-rex cam and a programmer costs more that the tm 1500 and you dont need cards/cams or programmers and there is lots of support for patches etc: i have a st550 that has'nt been used for the last six months it's back in it's box, there could be something one day, i wont hold my breath, they have gone to long without support.even the person who used to post patches has not made a post on any subject for months. |

hi leighr, your in the same boat as the st plaza users the support has ended. the last patch for ex-990 was the 16 oct 06. that patch wont open anything now. i would say get a t-rex 4.6 super cam and a cas 3 to program the cam, it's a shame the support has dried up it made good receivers even better. most users have gone the cam way or changed to a technomate 1500 that has plenty of support and costs far less than a cam and a programmer.sorry about the bad news. |
