Starview not getting Prem Channels

Hi Guys

I have a Starview 1 box which has lost all prem channels except the free ones e.g BBC. Here's what i have done to solve this problem with no luck:
1. I have reset the box to factory settings.
2. Powered off the box and switched back on.
3. Set the EMU to ON.
4. Set the Frequency to 000000
5. Enable network scan.
6. Manually rescanned the chanells.

All this did not work. I have performed the above steps for almost 10 times as I I have read on JonPC's posting.

Finally I performed an automatic chanell search. That did not help as well. Could this be the time to replace the Starview 1 box with a newer type.
The box is running on the following configurations:
Firmware running is: API ver: 4.00e_E
Boot ver: 7.0
Starview 1 Box.

Please HELP!!!!!!!!!

I think you need to update firmware to cryptstar v1.5 or manually input keys! don't forget to turn emu on

try pressing set default key just above the key emu just incase provider shows as corus or ff in the code section.

Thanks for youe response. I have tried doing what you've advised me but still not working. I have tried all the tips under the sun, maybe I would need to get somebody to do look at the box for me.

its no good pressing the default key if you still have the old firmware on the box.
either reflash the box with the latest firmware as previously suggested by larryoke or manually input the latest codes making sure you save each set of k*ys turn emu on and put on s*y sp***s 1 and let it update
