I've noticed there is a 25th Sept beta firmware for ex1100usb and the normal Sept 01 firmware. Can anyone tell me how the beta firmware improves on the on the sep 01 firmware? I know there are some screen freezing, no epg info and sky sports1 not auto-updating. Does the new beta solve any of these issues or is it still very much a test beta, and waiting for the full release is advised.

Any help much appreciated.

It fixes the card slot in slot out problem some people were having

Nice, thanks for the info. I was having that problem, so will go for the beta. It doesn't by any chance stop sky sports 1 keep re-scrambling itself does it?

A weird thing I also noticed is that with the previous firmware, when I sold a Eurovox to someone who lived in an NTL area, they couldnt scan-they just got no signal, however when I advised them to factory reset and download the latest 25th September firmware, they got past the no signal issue
