I love how the dvr has made watching my favorite shows on T.V. so much easier to do on my own time. But, does there exist any recording device like this for the radio?

Lol! It's a good idea, though - especially with internet radio growing up.

I figure it'll be more a software than hardware solution for that??

Wow, that is a great idea...I don't think I've heard of anything like that. Other than, of course, the aforementioned tape recorder. Ooooh, I remember making mix tapes in high school. That brings back memories!
