Default help and info needed

i used to have an ev max but it died a while a ago and now im looking to get another box to replace it and have been hearing good things about the kryptveiws. i was wondering where it would be safe to get one from. i have also been hearing that there is now technology to detect non vermin boxes and have seen on ebay somthing called a ( 50db return path noise blocker adaptor) that fits between your veiwing box and outside conection. i havent heard of these before and i was wondering if they have found a way to trace boxes. like everybody else i dont want to get my hands burned if you know what i mean so any help would be fantastic....

so is there any new technology to detect these boxes or it just a scare tactic. also would a video sender work on these boxes so that i could place the box in a room that cant be seen from the outside window. that way i would be able to veiw the box from my prefared room with out anyone looking through the window and seeing a box.

its a scaire tactic mate, also those 50db noise blockers are usually used by people who take it upon themselfs to mod there subbed box which isnt recomended, with a third party box starview, eurovox e.t.c dont have talkback so you wont need to worry about this

They do work but the cheaper 2.4 ghz models can suffer badly with interference from your home wifi and also your microwave, bad enough to make it not worthwile. The next option is the 5.8 ghz models which work great without interference but the price of these models mean that you are as well to just buy an extension lead so you can keep your box where you want out of view and not worry about interference or nosey neighbours...
Argos do them for a fiver.i have two of them chained together to feed an upstairs box after deciding the video sender option wasnt good for me.
