Default Eurovov max v down

Hi,
I have posted before with the same problem but have had no response but maybe I am not explaining myself properly. My Eurovox max v went down and I cant get any channels on it. I have reflashed it and done a power scan, nothing. I have done a factory reset and flashed it with UFL_ max_v_30_11_08 and done a power scan, still nothing. The emulator is on and I have tried inserting the keys manually and setting the default key, still nothing. There is no channels in the channel manager, the display on the box is at 0000 and I get the message channel currently unavailable. Has anybody any suggestions.

Do you pay subs to cable company, i.e. for internet, if not you might find they have dis-connected your cable feed which they have been doing a lot of over the last couple of weeks

I pay subs for internet and tv. My box is working it is my friends Eurovox that wont go. I am not getting any FTA channels. When I do a power scan it goes through the motions but seems to find nothing. Could the box be physically knackered

Ah ok but does your Mate pay any subs ?,if not Vermin may have chopped his cable con, which they are starting to do.
if not try like the previous poster said and scan on both symbol rates and could also be a signal strength problem might need a booster.
