Hi,
I've just connected up an external hdd to my ex1100 for the first time and when I press the record button I get the following message: 'USB speed too low'. Does anyone have any idea what I could do to fix this? My hdd is formatted to fat32 and it is the Lacie Porsche 500gb model. Thanks |

Is the lead running from the HDD to the vox quite long? Sounds like the link from the HDD to the box is the problem. Either that or the HDD is slow or under performing.
I use a 32gig usb memory stick and no probs. Sadly, they don't make them 500gb though

The lead is ridiculously short, only about a foot!
![]() I'm only using the 500gb as it's all I had to hand at short notice. I'll try another lead and if that doesn't work maybe a memory stick. |
