my pace di4000n with funcard is not working anymore since the software has been updated. error message on screen says this card is not for the box and i only get channels 1-5 can someone please help!!!!

3.7 is here in ex C&W

Yestarday I had to reboot by subbed box and it started updating itself. When everything was done I checked the setting page and found this :

Technical Page 4/6

Software Version : 3_7V_01_P10DN_S_S2110

I returned to my Pace 4000 which was still working but after an hour it got hit as well. The box was updated to the newer software version without even rebooting. Then I had the messenger on the screen that said please insert your smart card.

you need a rom 10 or rom 11 card.

So the funcards cant take the 3.7 software update and we need to use a MOSC card instead?

or u can use a fun with RST hex to make it work but u will have to update keys manually if they change keys everyday or twice a day like its happened before.

Funs do work perfectly on 3_7 but only with a fixed flash file, with the november 08 flash they will not work as has been discussed many times already, but with a bit of work they do and will work without an issue.
