Hi Haynes guide said click on a link to find my UBR area? Im in the blackburn / accrington area and this is what it come up with
cpc1-blbn7-0-0-cust***.manc.cable.ntl.com
is my ubr blackburn 7? what does the above mean? Thanks in advance

In iGoogle , there is a gadget you can add to your page which tells you everything . Search in gadgets for 'ip address'

I think its the top one

yeah u r blackburn 7 so macs from blackburn any other than ubr 7
