been trying to flash a ev max blue
but can not access the box the front of the box just keeps coming up with the same number 7546
what does this message number mean

files from big maq toolbar
done plenty of boxes this way .but have not come across this number or message before

so you downloading the right file for your box connecting it with a null modem cable then transferring the file over to box do you switch the box off via the power button try different com ports?

yeah done all that i think it needs jtaggin
files are goin' in easy enough but still cant get in to the box just comes up with ths same number on screen

you have lost the scart output (probably because its a clone)

disconnect your scart
connect some coax cable from the TV / VCR socket of the eurovox to the TV
tune your telly to the VCR channel where you will get the 'enter pin' screen
using your remote enter the master pin which is 1004.
go to menu and clear data, then do a factory reset.
plug your scart back in and do a powerscan as normal or reflash the box with the clonesafe firmware

spot on smoggy i fixed it earlier but you are dead right
since i got it going i have had a problem with my remote control
it does not respond and i have to input manually is it just new batteries i tried some but not sure how old they are

if the remote worked to do the above I would expect it to be OK only trial and error will prove otherwise.

if you didn't reflash the box maybe a reflash is the answer
