Woohooo, went to Maplins today, and I think I have sorted it.
Removed the Attenuator, replaced with a F-coupler. Replaced first run of cable with pre-moulded cable from Maplins (it seemed to lose connection if moved = duff cable) Put cable boxes back how I had them before (cable --> splitter ==> two vm boxes) Only problem was the ground loop on the PS3 (the only "non cabled" device plugged into the TV). I opened the plug up, removed the earth pin and wrapped it in isolating tape - the 3 prong connector to the PS3 is an archaic hangover from the old PC design and shouldn't be needed on something with a plastic case. Now get perfect SV, perfect V+, perfect PS3. Thanks everyone who gave me advice, especially Morrisoft ![]()
