Apple wont Boot Up, any Idea's ???

Hi, had no probs for last 18 months - today it just wont turn on, tried pressing Command P, R as it says in the troubleshooting guide, no joy - tried starting with install disk - no joy . Anyone any idea's on how I can start it up - Dont mind if it goes back to factory settings and start over , just want get it to turn on. It makes the start up sound then wheel in the middle just does'nt boot it up just keeps on spinning.

Might be able to help if you give me a rundown on the spec.

What Mac is it and what version OS are you using?
