how would you define "local interference"? I have visions of local youths getting in the way of the signal!
Could there be any issue with the dish alignment? |

Hi again,
so they have decided that the expensive LNB wont work, but oddly, we seem to get great signal in the morning then from about 11am onwards we get nothing, even with clear skies.....what is going on? Does the satellite move out of range? Ian |

No, but it does move around in a box about 50 miles across. In extreme fringe reception conditions thats sometimes enough to tip you over the edge of the "digital cliff" when you go from some reception to none.
Bigger dish required Im afraid.

I doubt an increase to 1.2 would bring any worthwhile improvement. Probably a good 1.5 or a reasonable 1.8 would be preferable. (Then you have planning permission problems)
Have you tried 19E as suggested??
