This is a complete 2MB flash file for the Ambit 256.

It contains Haxorware 1.1 rev38 DIAG, thanks to Rajkosto, and is intended to be flashed onto the original MX SPI chip, in the usual way.

So, there is no longer any need to buy a replacement SPI chip if you want Haxorware put on your Ambit 256.

Remember, thanks go to Koevoet, for supplying bootloader and Rajkosto for the Haxorware firmware.

interesting, i know how to do ambit 250, and ambit 255, would like to try 256.

what equipment do i need for that and what programs.

i buy pre loaded chips for 256's 2-3 mins to solder it on, boot modem on and go into ip page set it up to get online and its perfect, or you could keep current chip but u need a Spi Programmer £22.50 from fleebay maybe cheaper now

well i just tryed the above file on 2 256s and it bricked both ????????? put them back to orig firmware
