There is a test fix been released for the EX1100. The EPG is better but not yet perfect, it still only loads for channels on the same transponder, but it loads quicker and does not disappear in standby - as you go through the channels it loads more data. Don't forget to do a factory reset after loading.
It's available from the usual places ![]() Post your feedback here as I understand the developers do monitor the forums, please include your area, eg NTL, C&W or TW

well guys a bit of feedback for you after spending a few hours on flashing the new epg software it never worked for me it actuley made the epg worst i had none what so ever so i flashed back to the beta software leaving the new epg off... im in 6887 pure/ntl northampton area....ill be keeping my eye out to see if it works for other people or if it was me not correctly flashing the box but i dont think that was the problem. i must add i no its a beta image that the box is running but the genuwine ex100sl is a much more stable box in my opinion and if u want to record the ex5001 dose a far job at the moment theres is more cons than pros with this box but i guess like the old saying gos everthing comes to he/she who waits lol cheers.

I have tied it in Pure and it's a vast improvement. It only takes 10 seconds to load the firmware, not a few Hours, you then do a factory reset and you're ready to go.
@orientville have you looked through the FTA download links or the Bigmaq toolbar?

I have the purple light and still can't get the loader to connect to the box. I had tried to update the firmware via flash and it seemed to die on me. There's no sign of the rs232 loader on the bigmaq toolbar either.
Using usb-serial, windows 7 64bit. |

In Pure NTL Area, been using beta FW, channel data is loading slight bit faster, and does store after standby, but some channels show no data e.g. FIVE. Also the data does not display on info screen or channel list straight away. If you use EPG you can see the data.
There was no problem with flashing. |
