Default motor dish attempt

hi guys i plan on fitting a motor dish (when i get a bloody nice day, nice time of year to start) but anyways i have my dish attached to motor, but im a bit confused about the dish declination, my lattitude is 52 so set that on motor and my motor handbook says my declination angle is 27.8, first off my dish bracket only goes from 30 to 90 degrees, when assembling dish there were no real instructions on it but we say the back plate for the dish had an arrow on it so i pointed that upward and the dish bracket also had an arrow so pointed that upward to. the angle of dishis really tilting upward if i mount dish- i have to be wrong somewhere??

Where are you fitting your dish? Is it going to be on a wall or are you lucky enough to be able to have a ground mounted set up?
You really need to provide more information regarding your motor, and dish, as they tend to have different instructions.
Personally I tend to ignore the marking options and set up the old fashioned way using my nearest due south satellite.
If you try dishpointer.com you can find your latitude and longitude using your postcode.
Your longitude shows your due south position, positive readings = East negative = West.

I assume that the elevation instructions are for your due south satellite in which case the dish should not be tilting way up but be closer to flat.
Can you please post some pictures of the mount, and the motor, with the dish on it, so that we can see the set up?
It might be best to put the whole thing together, and on the pole, so that you can see exactly how it looks, before attempting to install it, as you might have it assembled incorrectly.

I have not got dish up on bracket yet but when i do i will send some pics, i said earlier that the dish back plate bracket had an arrow on it and i pointed it up as i did with the dish bracket that connects to motor- i took it apart and tried with arrow pointing down on brackets but that looked extremely off (was pointing well down). i basically followed the instructions with the motor and this is what im left with- golden interstar is make of motor it says 35 - declination is the angle required, which leaves me with 27.5 or something close like that.. so if im aiming for due south the dish should only be slightly tilted.?

Yes, it's probably easiest if you can assemble everything first while on the ground, if possible, to check that everything is working, and assembled, correctly, then take it apart to move to the wall mount.
Have you read the sticky threads regarding installing a motor, they should help.
DiSEqC motor installation guides.

There aren't a lot of channels on 8W, but the signal strength is quite good for the ones on the Europe beam:

Try the CNN International channel, 11010 H 27500, as this is Free to Air.

You can still use the Usals option, once the dish is set up, providing you have set it up correctly, or you can store the satellites manually, it's not to difficult and allows you to peak the signal.
The main thing is to ensure that you get the pole plum otherwise you will not be able to track the satellite arc correctly.
