My cousin have Dell AIO 942. It was working fine till last week but all of a sudden it won't print the red color, though it is printing other colors (green and yellow). Why's that?

i assumed you have separate cartridges such as cmyk or rgbk
try giving a shake to the r (red) ink cartridge, see if it will print, or try cleaning it on the printer's command just clean the red so it will spit some "clogged" red ink on it. |

Hi JohnGM and welcome to TechWatch.
![]() If it's not a silly question, are you able to access the printer status screen telling you how full the different ink cartridges are? |

Thanks Brian. The colour cartridge isn't very old and the status shows about half full, as does the black one. I don't really want to buy another expensive Dell cartridge if it's the printer that might be at fault. Cheers John
