As the title suggests, I was just wondering if anyone used Safari as their main browser. I'm giving it a go now (after deciding FF, IE and Opera aren't for me).
Is it a good browser? It looks quite nice to me. |

bought my very first mac about 10 days ago in Florida ( saved £300 on UK price
). Am using Safari as default here, seems pretty good to me. Always used FF prior to buying this; but see no need to change for the time being. Not sure how you stand for add-ons like in FF, which were nice. The more I use this, the more familiar it seems to me and "normal". Speed seems pretty good to me, will know better over time though.

I've been using safari for a few months and quite like it, especially the Top Sites function. Oh, I use it on a windows PC, not a Mac.

I know it's only been a day, but OMG! A webbrowser that doesn't seem to generate negative feedback!
The top sites function is good, Opera has an equivalent in "Speed dial", but as usual, Apple deliver a similar product but with more style. The only thing I'm missing at the moment is mouse gestures, but I'll get over that. For the record, I'm also using the Safari/PC combo. |

I use Safari on PC and mac, and I prefer it to everything else, it loads fast and is very reliable. It has no plugin feature which may annoy some people but I never use plugins anyway

I have used it since it was first there. One e.g. of its faults is it can be fussy. I cannot access my bank account using it. Wont accept account number. Firefox is far better when you are used to it.

Safari is okay, but there's no real pull to use it - it's installed on my iPad and it browses fine, but I'd use Firefox instead if I could for the plugins. However, it's not available for iOS.
