why don't you try and get another simm and try it before attempting to lift the chip m8.

i did try another simm from a working box but still give me the err4 at the end of sequence

something to try - fit the 4 chip sim, boot the box whilst holding on button so it displays ohay ,now press the top button nearest the on button so that the display will show 1111 then press ok, this if i remember right should erase the chips on the sim , once it finishes check that the netid and freq are correct and there is not a no update mod done to the box then do a forced update. hopefully will work.

if i view it in eng menu last words are wiping flash and restarting and goes through the same sequence over &and over!

iv had this on a Di4001, 2day ...wouldent boot just goes strraight into .auto update??? it was working o.k a few days ago..moved it to another house (in the same erea & getting thid prob) when its ben throu all its seq..i get error 20 ?

it worked on the white caable that vm supply. @ my house.. (trtyed it @ another house ..on the balck cheap cable .& fitted f-connecters myself & gettting this prob ..hmmm .....not tryed it here agin yet
