or, do we use the gen tool in hax?

BPI isn't for authentication and is never forced, so not much point in doing this but...

You gen a 1024 bit RSA keypair in DER format using openSSL or similar. You then load em into the modem with Haxor GUI and they'll work fine. Haxor self signed cert **** only makes horribly poor (and completely useless) BPI+ certs.

It doesn't make the BPI keys themselves which is why if your modem didn't have a pair of keys on it when you installed Hax..BPI would not have worked, and never will...until you load some keys in.

BPI+ won't work either way
