Default One for the coder (and other coders)

Once N3 is rolled out, and assuming there's no dump of the card available, what will you turn your attentions to? I ask because I'm dying to learn more about the programming on the cards, but can't bring myself to spend what imagine will be a lot of time and effort on learning something which will have no use to me.

So what's the next thing you coder types will be spending your hours on?

Maybe I should have phrased it differently...

Once you've finished reading "The Big Book of Nerdy Sarcasm", and you've played with your now orange todgers till they sting, what other hobby type applications are there for low level language programmers?
