Default Instructins for flashing Starview 5

This is not my work (apart from instruction 3 was previously number 1), I got it from another forum

ALL THANKS go to dessertdog who was the originator

Format a usb stick in pc to fat 32
Copy the firmware onto the stick via the PC
Plug in the box and connect the cables
Switch your box off completely and insert the usb in the rear socket.
Switch on the box wait for it to boot up.
Press menu and scroll to usb press ok
The firmware should start to transfer from the usb to the box.
Once this has done hit menu and key in 1570 with the remote.
this will bring up the secret menu hi light keycode and change it to on.
You should now be set to scan go into menu and select installation, choose automatic scan press ok then choose your provider hit ok again.
You should now get all channels your after.

just to add to that there is a lot of hanging on these boxes with 8882 on screen when flashing you need to leave it for a while dont panic it takes about 30/40 secs to go

Think they are all about the same price £85-£90 unless you can get one 2nd hand from Leeds or Ireland. Wizard Satellite includes next day delivery.
