Default Samsung 3110 netid setting...

Hi guys,
I have managed to get my hands on a sammy 3110, with what looks like a valid bk (starts "ED C1..") and have glitched the card. Unfortunately after getting the bk/ird from it, it died on me!
However I had a spare card, so programmed me a mosc, got an atmega, and managed to find a tut on resetting the box.
Now having got it reset, it doesn't want to seem to reboot itself - even after 15 minutes. So I pulled the plug, and got myself into eng menu, and - got a netid of 09999. All good so far, except my atmega won't set the netid for me in the same way that it works for the old v+ and of course the sammy 2110.
When I do the initial reset, I get ld06 but it eventually gets stuck at "pl70" and stays there. If I just let the box boot, I still only get to "pl70".
I'm in tw land, anyone got any suggestions?
Cheers

Look what chip is on the 3110 mate. If it's the same then I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work (and give you the same Net ID and/or pin).

Take a look at this red....

Virgin Media's new V+ box will be MPEG4 | News | TechRadar UK

And the chip is a 1024 same as the 2110 boxes

Hi,
Have done plenty of 2110s with atmega and netid v2 1.7.2, so pretty confident I have got it right that way. However when I did a reset (with the left right ok stby buttons) it did go through ld06, but didn't seem to reboot itself even after 15 mins + - I eventually reset it myself.
I heard on another forum that this can mean that even though the netid is reset the pin can stay in the box - and prevent the atmega trick working!
I'd rather not swap the chips as I'm worried about lifting pads etc but looking like the only option at this point - I'm convinced the ird and BK are ok (shows paired in the EM and bk looks good) so will be worth it in the end!

Just thought I'd let everyone know that I cracked it!
These boxes can be sooooo slooooow with the atmega/funcard trick by the looks of things. Keep trying it will take in the end. leave it for a long time (and I mean possibly in excess of an hour with the fun/atmega in on the eng menu) and also make a mosc first - and put it in before you put your fun/atmega in.
I left it in last night, and when I went to it at lunch after getting up, there it was my proper netid was in, my mosc worked first go, and no freezing/popping on subbed channels
