Default Help with DVBViewer - Please

Hi Guys

I've been running MP for about a month, but it appears to becoming more and more unstable. TV picture very jerky, odd crashes. So i want to try DVBViewer and see if the TV picture is any better.

I've installed DVBViewer and Vplug 2.4.2 into the Plugins folder but cannot clear any encrypted channels.
Do I need MDAPI installing as well? Or is there something else that works with Vplug for DVBViewer?
I have searched all over this forum and many others but cannot find a solution, so thought it ws time to ask.

Thanks

Hi bilbo1161, do you mean vplug can't be seen within DVBViewer (wrong plugins folder maybe) or it won't decrypt?

Vplug will not autoupdate unless you make a few changes to the V_emm files and you also need a v_keys.db file

You need to have pikachu's soft csa (SoftCSA.DLL) installed into the plugins folder, Vplug needs installing into MDPlugins folder and then do as 'The insaan' says

for DVBviewer you do not need anything but to change that the V_emm file, not too sure about MP

OK, Seems like DVBViewer has changed since I used it, this is taken from VPlug ReadMe

And also:
- DVB-Viewer-Pro (installation dir = >>**Plugins**<< folder of the app + select "has CI" in hardware option of the program, settings -> options -> hardware -> has CI module) and add DefaultCSA=FFDecsa_64_MMX.mdl to vPlug.ini file

I stand corrected,But I must state that it will still work the other way that I mentioned

yes it has mate, DVBviewer 4 is a lot simpler, just install dvbviewer and then install Vplug, make your changes to emm file and thats it really
