Default black screen on new image

hi my first post i have a relook 400s with flash wizard and have a number ofDB images the one i am using is darkstar,,,well i tryed last night to try some more images ,,i flash them to the box /they load/boot image appeares the i stroll to the image/press ok the boot image appeares then goes black,i have to switch off box at mains to load the darkstar any thoughts,,the only thing different is i am now using windows 7 many thanks
