hello all
Just wondering if anyonr might know whats wrong with this laptop it freezes as soon as it loads up vista desktop screen nothing works i have to hold down power to switch off i have done a complete format and recovery disk install of vista and the same thing happens it works in safe mode so i downloaded sp2 and installed in safe mode but thats not helped many thanks stu |

has it ever worked while you have been running Vista? Have you recently installed any new software or hardware on to the laptop? If it works in safe mode it could be an indication that there is incompatible software installed. If you think that might be the issue uninstall the software and see if that works.

I think it has 3gb of memory and i have tested it with windows memory test with no problems
i have done a complete reload from scratch of vista so no other programes should be on it thanks for the help stu |
