Please help.

I have just moved into a property which has a Sky dish on it (working but currently i'm not subscribed with them or want to)...i wanted to get some free to air channels so i looked at Freesat (using the current Sky dish). But since then I see info on getting other channels including ones from overseas (Italy, Spain etc) using a different type box.

Please can you help? If i get a Freesat box (from Tesco or Argos) I presume I wont get other channels outside of the Freesat ones..?

Is that right??

If i buy a box from Maplins such as a Fortec Star and rig that to my sky dish will i get more?????

Please advise????

Only the Humax Foxsat Freesat receivers have the ability to be used in non Freesat mode, however you will also need a bigger dish and motorised if you want to get the most out of what else is out there.

Using the Sky dish will oply get you the FTA channels on this satellite
