Cam Id is the id for the area your in, like;
-TW Cam ID starts with 2CXXXXXX example 2C31E7D1 -CW Cam ID starts with 27XXXXXX -Pure Cam ID starts with 24XXXXXX the first 2 digits are for your area and must start as shown, you can make up the rest any combination of (0 to 9) and (A to F) will do m8.

It has nothing to do with area ...
CAM ID is to do with the address of the card (ie it's unique serial number). Each card is given a unique address. Eg 27010203 When N1 EMM's are sent out they make up one of 3 bytes PK0 - Individual Card EMM - Targetted at the full address PK1 - Group Card EMM - Targetted at the shared address. PK2 - Gloabl EMM - Targetted at any card. PK2 parity keys are common to all cards. PK1 parity keys are common to all cards within the same group (shared address) PK0 parity keys are unique to all cards. The shared address/group is the first 3 bytes - so in this example the shared address would be 270102xx and we would be the 3rd card in the group of 256 cards. When you change your package/tier an update is required to your card only, do they compile the emm from a database of CAM ID's linked to the IRD serial number of your stb?
