Default Upload Speeds

Is there anything I can do apart from changing providers to get faster upload speeds.

Any ideas welcome

1) Wired instead of wireless ?

Thanks for any help

Move house so you are nearer the exchange.

Ensure you have a good connection between the phone socket and the router - interference on an phone extension cable can cause all sorts of problems.

Use a wired ethernet connection.

i use wireless as well and i always get good speeds, one thing i did notice was if you have a password for you wireless internet connection that is numbers and letters it would be like 1-2mb slower for some reason, but if you have a all number password you get better speeds. also put the router in a high place and as close to the center of the room as possible.
