loft box with LNB input ???- this is the contentious bit, the advantage is to boost the terrestrial signal and save on 4 way LNB but

will the benefit of separate sky boxes connected directly to a 4 way LNB and scart leads to the TVs give a significantly better picture and supersede the terrestrial anyway? - £50
digieyes x2 toolstation - £10
coax £25

There's no doubt that separate digiboxes will not offer,a greater range of channels(240 channels V 50 channels),greater flexibilty(no arguing over the remote),better interactive features.
A quad LNB can be found for £10 brand new(including P&P)
Sky digiboxes can be found, even cheaper at car boot sales.

There's also no guarantee that boosting the terrestrial will work, if the signal is crap in the first place, all it will do is amplify both noise and signal, chuck some more noise in for good measure, and make it worse than it was before.

Using digiboxes on the other hand with a quad LNB will give you a perfect picture on all TVs.
