Hi all has anyone who has bought the ex6000 tried the component video out put instead of scart, according to a review forum it supposed to make quite a difference in picture quality on larger screens....thanks

I was wondering the same thing when i was installing my box on sunday.

Might see if i can get a cheap cable and try it out

I have m8 I started using the scart but I dont know if it was the cable or what but the colouring didn't look right so I switched to components and the picture is alot better! I have a cheap 32" flat screen if thats any help

What exactly is it you need to connect the ev to your tv using component ?...i have a max v red...and i see the option to connect with component on tv options.

hi i dont think you can connect max v somebody might want to prove me wrong but i think it is composite on this box, it looks like it has just been added to( component video far superior ) to composite i have a euro red 07 and i cant connect that to my television, looking to buy myself a ex6000 as a xmas presi to myself.....hope this helps

Composite is actually worser than scart.
Component is much superior to scart.

Just to add my comment, the component qaulity is extremely good from it.

I got a big flat screen telly and it almost looks like HD. Very smooth and clean picture.

I don't think any of the other boxes out there have got component, I think the EX6000 Revo is the only one so you can't do it with the Max etc.

Component is very unusual on a non-HD box.

looks like i would need a new box then

i am happy with the max v and never had any bother with it...so i will stick with it for now

I got a new 42" tv .... but HD box will need to wait for a while
