Ok, So i have a Ambit 256 Allredy Flashed with HaxorWare, But i'm also allredy paying for my internet MAC with VIRGIN, If i was to take the MAC from MY PAID version box and put it on the FLASHED Ambit 256, Would this work and let me go online say if i give the flashed box to my brother.

So the best way to get another MAC, Is to go round a friends and DHCP sniff his MAC? And use that, Sorry i'm new to all this. Thanks again Louis

Would work as long as your brother is in a different ubr,as for ringing alarm bells all sniffed macs belong to someones subbed modem so i can't see how using your own is any more risky.

it should work fine................isn't this want all sniffed macs are........... copies of macs issued to paying customers???

go to a mates house about 5mins away get his mac if he is with virgin, come home put it in if it works bingo !!, then do a dhcp sniffer with his mac and get more macs !!!!!

what i do and works a treat
